Nanette Burton, MS

Nanette Burton, MS, has been with the Institute of Violence, Abuse & Trauma (IVAT) since 2017 and is currently the Publications and Research Coordinator for three internationally published journals. She serves on the Board of Directors for the National Partnership to End Interpersonal Violence Across the Lifespan (NPEIV) as co-chair for Action Team 1, Public Policy and Engagement. In addition to her work with IVAT, she is an Adjunct Instructor at Alliant International University, California School of Forensic Studies. Her areas of interest include research, violent offenders, threat/risk assessment, advocacy, policy analysis, and program evaluation & development. She plans to continue her professional development to affect broad changes and contribute to trainings, research, publications, and discussions on crime, victimization, trauma, and the justice system.
