In support of the RALIANCE statement on the split verdict in the Harvey Weinstein trial

Following the guilty verdict in the Weinstein trial, RALIANCE Executive Director, Ebony Tucker, released a statement addressing multiple issues related to abuse and oppression, and acknowledging the complications survivors often face to hold abusers accountable for their actions.

In support of RALIANCE, NPEIV would like to share their statement on the split verdict and highlight the importance of a cultural shift towards changing our response to survivors of all forms of interpersonal violence. NPEIV agrees that by continuing to raise awareness and encourage difficult conversations, we can work together to amplify the voices of those who courageously come forward.
