This session will focus on building awareness of the context and experiences of sexual and gender minority victims of sexual violence, and offer training participants strategies for providing forensic interviews, services and advocacy in a meaningful and culturally sensitive manner. Professionals are encouraged to serve as allies for sexual and gender minority youth. Assess your skills to improve responses and learn to identify what puts sexual minority victims at greater risk for victimization.
