This presentation will focus on offender program interventions that offer the possibility of reducing the incidences of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and thereby the rates of victimization, and the negative effects of children’s exposure. Discussion will focus on programs, tools and evidence-based interventions that appear to have some success in reducing the rates and severity of IPV offending. Information will also be provided on the challenges associated with programming for women who use force against their intimate partners.
